Today is my 13th Wedding anniversary. It seems impossible to believe that it has been 13 years since I walked up the aisle, and we've certainly had our share of ups and downs since then. DH is somewhat greyer than he was then, and I'm definitely a bit *ahem*...fluffier....

DH is off work all week to try and push on with work on the house, and the kids went back to school this morning so DH and I got to go out to lunch together, which was lovely. Talking of the house, we spoke to an estate agent today about getting it on the market, and we've got someone coming round to give us a more up-to-date valuation tomorrow afternoon. We did get it valued about 6 months ago for our immigration application, but things in the local housing market move so quickly it will be very out of date by now so I have no idea what this house will fetch. Things are moving at last! I hope it doesn't take too long to sell.

Poor little DS has had a bad afternoon. I heard him screaming and of course DH and I went running, and it turns out that some bigger kids were bullying him and one had been twisting his arm right round behind his back. By the time we got there the culprits had done a runner and the kids that live by us of course claimed to know nothing even though according to DD they all stood and watched it happening. Why do some kids get pleasure out of hurting smaller kids? DS is only 7 and small for his age, and the boys that were picking on him were at least 14. DH went ballistic, all I can say is those boys had better not show their faces in this street for a while. The trouble is, so often the kids' parents don't seem to care or deny that their child would do such a thing and the kids know they can get away with it.

Happy Anniversary ! ! !

And some kids are just horrible. Makes you wonder if their parents bother even trying with them. Hope karma catches up with those bullies.
