More progress on Pompeji...this is halfway through part 2, so only three and a half parts to go to catch up - easy peasy! Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting Yes, I do know I haven't done the backstitching in the top left bit yet. We took the kids to Taronga Zoo yesterday, this is them near the elephant enclosure. They look thrilled to bits, don't they? Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting They did actually have a good time though. It took forever to park and forever to get in, but once in we had a lot of fun. The weather was a bit hit and miss though - it would be warm and sunny and then ten minutes later it would be teeming down with rain, and ten minutes after that warm and sunny again! Luckily Taronga is well equiped with plenty of places to shelter from the rain for a few minutes so it was no big deal and didn't spoil the day.

Pete decided on the spur of the moment to take us all out to eat afterwards, so we ate at a place we like in Castle Hill. We finished by trying to get in to see the movie Eragon (Louise is a big fan of the books) but we missed the showing by 10 minutes and the next one wasn't for a couple of hours and it was getting late by that time so we decided not to hang around.

Gorgeous!! You're zipping through this one!

Oh... I am so jealous of your weather right now. It's zero degrees Celsius here this morning and feels much colder. I'd love to be wearing shorts now!

Wow! Great progress - it looks gorgeous. Looks like a fun day at the zoo - we have one definite zoo hater in our family, makes for making holiday outings no fun at all! LOL

You're really tearing right through Pompei!! It looks fantastic. The colors probably make it fun to work.
