Finis...

I finished the igloo this afternoon! The pink metallic in the sky is a little paler than the recommended thread, but I think it works OK..it shows up better in real life than it does in the photo. Now then...what to stitch next?? Shall I work on an existing WIP or start something new? I'm not feeling very motivated to stitch any of my WIPs to be honest. I'm leaning towards maybe starting one of my many Mirabilias seeing as I don't have one on the go at the moment.

We went to see Harry Potter & The Order Of The Phoenix last night. I have to say I was a little disappointed...I realise it was an enormous book to squeeze into a 2 hour film, but it seemed a bit...disjointed. I thought it might be because I was conscious of how much had been cut out but Pete - who hasn't read the books - also thought it was only 'ok'. Never mind, only a week to go till book 7 hits the shops!

I thought you might like to see this cute cat photo - Ringo & Chequers having a cuddle in my stitching seat!

Love the igloo. Go on, be a devil and have a new start :o) A Mira would be good. Which one are you thinking of doing?

I vote for a new Mira too ;)

I went to see HP too, I had read the book a long time ago, so I didn't remember a lot of stuff, but they left importants details out of the movie. But I like the movie, and enjoy the perfomances :)
Now to wait for the book 7!!

I love your igloo, Gill. I've been tempted by these designs myself.

Yes, I am using two strands in my HAED. I know now that it was a mistake, but the chart called for two strands and I wanted the depth of colour that I thought just one strand wouldn't give me. Hey ho! can't start again now so I will just have to struggle on!
