Hello peeps! I had a big gap with no stitching going on due to a massive flare-up of bursitis in my shoulder...hence no updates in a while. I'm now gritting my teeth and stitching regardless - I hate not stitching! So I now have stuffs to show you! Apologies for the crappy photos - it's dull and rainy today so all my pics are dismal.

A Happy Dance to start off with -

Thriller is done. My mum hates it, Pete doesn't think much of it, but I like it and so does Louise, so I don't care! I'll hang it in the Room Of Stash when I eventually frame it.

More on Sea Goddess...

And a start on the new Mirabilia Trick Or Treat Fairy (Fairy?!! Where's her wings??) from Cross Stitch & Needlework magazine - stitched on a SW Solo opalescent which is more peachy than it looks in the pic. Apologies for the shadow too...

Thriller is fantastic! A beautiful finish - Congratulations!

Your mermie is looking gorgeous too. I'm still waiting for our Borders to get that issue in (I'm in there three times a week now!! - it's pretty close to my work).

Hope your shoulder is better soon.

Congratulations on your finish, and your other stitching looks great too! I'm sorry to hear about your shoulder, but I'm SO glad you posted about it. I've been having problems with my right shoulder lately and when I googled bursitis after reading your post, it's the first thing I've come across that sounds like the problem I've been having, so now I have something to look into further. I hope it stops bothering you soon so your stitching isn't painful! I've actually had to put mine down lately, which has really sucked.

Thriller is absolutely wonderful. Congratulations of a fantastic finish.

If you have the information, could you post the threads you used because I'd love to have them as a potential colourway for the future?

Congrats on your finish, Gill! So much work has gone into this one - you must be so pleased with the result? Your other wips are coming along nicely too.

Sorry to hear about your shoulder Gill. That must be a terrible thing to deal with. I hope it gets better soon!

Thriller looks amazing, what a great finish. Your Sea Goddess looks like she is close to the end! Amazing progress!

Nora's new fairy? I agree, where are her wings!?! I like the fabric choice for her, fit her perfectly!

That needs to be a VERY long happy dance - don't think I could have perservered (why can't I spell that?) with a well shoulder, let alone a painful one! Looks beautiful, glad you are back but keep nursing the shoulder!

Thriller looks great.

I love that new fairy, too, but seriously, does she have invisible wings? I still plan to stitch her. I'll call her a Halloween Girl.

Hi Gill-
I was Googling around and saw your blog. Just wanted to say what a delight it is to see my Sea Goddess progressing so beautifully. Hope you are enjoying the stitching as much as I loved creating her!

All best wishes-
