What is this - Guilt Free October?

It's been quite a rough few days here at chez us...there's been a bit of a gastro outbreak locally, and first Little Pete and then I have had it. Luckily not both at the same time. I was so ill yesterday DH had to take a day off work to look after me. I'm feeling a bit better today - still washed out and tired, but ok. Fingers crossed that no one else comes down with it!

No stitching at all yesterday, for obvious reasons, but before I got sick I made another new start - Examplar Dames 'Forgiveness'....

Stitched in DMC, one over two on 36 count Cream linen (which looks white in the photo, IRL it's a much warmer colour)...

This is what Forgiveness looks like, in case you're not familiar with it....

Sorry to hear that you are under the weather, and hope you make a speedy recovery. :) Three out of the four of us at our house generally seem to trade our illnesses back and forth a few times before it finally fizzles out. Blech! I say 3 out of 4 because my DH has an immune system like a Mack truck. During the 12 years we've been together, he's only been sick 3 or 4 times! It works out nicely though, because there's always someone to mop the rest of us up and make chicken noodle soup. ;) My oldest son started Kindergarten this Fall, so I'm bracing myself for lots of sick days.

Your Pompeji Garden is coming along nicely. I can't wait to see it finished. I'm thinking of starting Medieval Town Mandala, but that may need to wait a bit since I just started two big projects. I'll definitely go ahead and get the chart to drool over in the meantime. lol I started And a Forest Grew, and Marriage of the Minds in the last month, but progress is really slow. I'm having a hard time really getting into them, mostly because I've been fingering my stash, wishing it would all be stitched up already. I feel a case of startitis coming on....

On that note, I wanted to look at some fabric from Sugar Maple Farms a few days ago, but their website wont load. Is it just my computer, or have they gone out of business? I thought you might know, since you love hand dyed fabric, and might have ordered from them recently.

Let me know the next time you get ready to destash. We've emailed before, but it's been a good long while, so here goes mine again...

Feel better soon!
